Nice to meet you

Hi, I’m Kelsey.

For more than 15 years, I've worked at the intersection of mental health and the justice system, supporting individuals and families through some of life's most difficult and uncertain moments. Those experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the resilience people carry—even when they don't see it themselves.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, a major life change, or trying to make sense of the impact of mental illness or the legal system, my goal is simple: to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward.

I believe therapy should be both compassionate and practical. Together, we'll work to better understand what's keeping you stuck, build effective coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change.

What We Can Work On Together

  • Managing anxiety, stress, and overwhelming emotions

  • Improving communication and strengthening relationships

  • Navigating major life changes with greater confidence

  • Developing healthier coping strategies

  • Understanding patterns that may be keeping you stuck

  • Building confidence and resilience

  • Processing guilt and shame in a supportive environment

  • Supporting loved ones impacted by mental illness

  • Navigating the emotional impact of involvement with the legal system

  • Creating meaningful, lasting change that extends beyond the therapy room

My Approach

I believe therapy should feel like a conversation—not a lecture or an interrogation.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and honest. I'll listen without judgment, ask thoughtful questions, and offer feedback when it's helpful. Sometimes that means learning new coping skills. Other times it means looking at patterns, challenging unhelpful beliefs, or simply having someone who can help you make sense of a difficult situation.

Above all, I want therapy to be useful. My hope is that you'll leave each session with greater clarity, a new perspective, or something practical you can apply outside of our time together.

Because meaningful change doesn't just happen during therapy—it happens in everyday life.
